Paul Tjiam, hoofd van de afdeling soft IP, heeft samen met zijn collega’s onderzoek verricht bij circa 30 merkenportfolio’s van internationale en nationale bedrijven. Ruim drie kwart van deze bedrijven had zijn merkenportfolio niet volledig op orde. Onvoldoende merkbescherming kan leiden tot misbruik en inbreuk door derden.
