The National Competition Commission (CNC) has decided to create a Surveillance Unit within the Investigations Division in order to examine surveillance procedures and strengthen the compliance with obligations, resolutions and decisions of the CNC. Additionally, the new Government has approved a draft legislation to merge all sectorial regulators (energy and telecoms) with the current CNC.
