The Irish Government has issued further advice on Brexit preparedness, which is addressed to Irish companies which store personal data in the UK or in a UK based cloud service.
The government reminds such companies that they need to ensure that sufficient protections are in place so that they can continue to transfer personal data post-Brexit.
The advice refers to the guidance issued by the Data Protection Commission on what measures would apply for a majority of companies in the event of a no deal Brexit, which is available on the Data Protection Commission website.
