Luxembourg 15 September 2019 deadline approaches requiring notification to CSSF of intentions to continue operating under the transitional regime

As referenced on our Luxembourg country pages for the Temporary Permissions Regime, Luxembourg has in place a transitional regime for UK firms to carry on existing activities (ie to service existing contracts, and closely connected contracts).

However, in order to access this transitional regime, firms are required to notify the Luxembourg regulator (the CSSF) by 15 September 2019. As this deadline is drawing to a close, we wanted to draw your attention to it in case you have contracts with Luxembourg counterparties and are unaware of the deadline.

The portal for notifying the CSSF is here.
