Employing people in a regulated context has always been a complex arena. In recent years, the lines between HR, Compliance and Legal have become increasingly blurred not least with the introduction of the new individual accountability regime (to be extended to all in the FI sector from 2018).
In addition, increased attention from the regulators means that organisations operating in the financial services industry must pay close attention to the responsibilities and regulatory requirements placed upon their people.
