Two key Supreme Court decisions for solicitors and their professional indemnity insurers
Felix Zimmermann and Olivia Darlington recently held a client call providing an overview of the key issues arising out of two Supreme Court judgments: (1) BPE Solicitors v Hughes-Holland (as trustee in bankruptcy of Gabriel) in which the Court applies SAAMCO principles to a solicitors’ negligence case; and (2) AIG v Woodgate, concerning the scope of aggregation under the Minimum Terms and Conditions applicable to solicitors’ professional indemnity insurance.
